Wasn't sure about the short bit below the waist but it actually sits really nicely over my hips. The underwiring gives decent lift without digging in, and the wetlook fabric feels sturdier than I expected. Wore it for a night out and it stayed put all evening.
The fishnet panel looks even better in person, and the wetlook material has just enough stretch to feel comfortable. It hits right at the waist with that short extension below, which is exactly the cut I wanted.
The underwire actually gives real support, which I didn't expect from a bustier. Wore it under a blazer for a night out and the short bit below the waist stayed put all evening instead of riding up.
