Wore this to a show last weekend and the chain detail got more compliments than my outfit. The leather holds its shape well and doesn't flop around like cheaper hats I've had.

The leather on this hat is genuinely thick and stiff in the best way, not that flimsy stuff that creases after a week. The chain detail gives it just enough edge without looking costume-y, and it actually held its shape through a whole night out.
